Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to facilitate and support milestone closure and assurance activities on comprehensive programs of work, aimed at enhancing Group-wide policies, processes, and controls.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in controls assurance and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the group to facilitate milestone closure and assurance activities, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in managing the assurance schedule, develop areas of focus for independent assessors, coordinate with project managers to collect milestone closure artefacts, and obtain formal approval.
  • Facilitate quarterly review and reporting processes, monitor progress of management actions closures, and contribute to monthly reporting to senior stakeholders and governance committees.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a controls assurance function within a professional services firm or financial institution.
  • Proficient understanding of internal control frameworks and experience in assessing control design and operating effectiveness.
  • Experience in providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders to improve control evidence artefacts and address control issues or gaps.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a high attention to detail.
