Job Title: Pipeline Assurance Expert

The Portfolio Assurance Lead is responsible for overseeing the infrastructure assurance process, ensuring it is aligned with organizational objectives and delivers maximum value to customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading the investment decision support function, providing expert input, direction, and guidance to teams across the investment and delivery value chain.
  • Reviewing business cases to ensure they are robust and advising management on any issues, including assessing financial appraisals, reviewing risks, confirming benefits, and outcomes.
  • Providing stakeholders with professional advice relating to business case preparation, improving quality and successful completion of gateway requirements.
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement to align infrastructure assurance processes with corporate standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree qualification or experience deemed equivalent.
  • Significant experience in investment appraisal and assurance, preferably in an infrastructure/utility/regulated organization.
  • Experience in undertaking and overseeing pre- and post-gateway reviews.
  • Familiarity with NSW gateway assurance processes and business case development.
  • Understanding of capital project accounting and reporting procedures.
