Key Account Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local businesses.

Job Description:

  • Manage a portfolio of established clients and actively identify new opportunities through your network and referral partners.
  • Deliver tailored financial solutions by deeply understanding complex client needs and collaborating with product specialists.
  • Help businesses grow with confidence by providing expert advice on cash flow, capital, risk management, and transaction banking.
  • Be part of a collaborative team of Relationship Executives and Analysts, working flexibly in a way that suits you.
  • Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring, and negotiation in the region.
  • Represent Commonwealth Bank with pride and grow your regional profile.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong track record in business banking, particularly in building and leading successful portfolios.
  • Experience in commercial lending, a deep understanding of banking products and services, and sharp financial analysis and credit skills.
  • A passion for customer service and business development; experience in a diversified sector is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with product specialists and cross-functional teams.
