This position is situated in the Eastern Region, within our Family Preservation and Reunification Program.
The Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Program aims to provide an enhanced continuum of care across the state by linking with, aligning with, and building on existing child and family services.
The model is an integrated and evidence-based approach to supporting and problem solving with families, preventing children and young people's re/entry to out of home care.
This is a Full-Time Fixed Term opportunity based in Forest Hill, VIC.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality support to families and prevent children and young people from entering or re-entering out of home care.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve program objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A relevant tertiary qualification, which may include a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology or a related subject area.
Significant work experience in a relevant field which supports an understanding of key child development issues relating to young parents and their families who have complex needs.
Understanding of and demonstrated experience working with issues such as attachment, trauma, and intergenerational disadvantage.
