About this role:

This position is part of a team within the Family & Community Services sector, located in the Eastern Region.

The Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Program aims to prevent children entering or re-entering care by working with families through an integrated approach.

The model supports families and prevents children from re/entry to out-of-home care by working collaboratively under the guidance of a Practice Leader.

Key responsibilities include holding a relevant tertiary qualification, having significant work experience in a related field, and understanding complex child development issues.

Preferred qualifications include knowledge of child development research, strengths-based family focused theoretical models, and completing assessment tools like the North Carolina Family Assessment Scale and Adverse Childhood Experiences Questionnaire.
