Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Lifting Equipment Inspection Officer.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of lifting and height safety gear
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on lifting equipment ensuring optimal performance
  • Manufacture chain and wire rope slings adhering to strict quality control standards
  • Operate lifting and handling equipment safely and efficiently including manual lifting tasks
  • Accurately complete job data entry and inspection reports using tablets or computers
  • Operate machinery such as overhead cranes and forklifts with precision and care
  • Participate in ongoing training and industry certifications to stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements
  • Hands-on mechanically minded individuals with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable using tablets or job management software with a basic understanding of computer systems
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic with a commitment to teamwork
  • Awareness of workplace safety procedures and protocols with a proactive approach to risk mitigation
  • Current driver's license with a valid Australian permit
