Job Summary

This critical role involves the installation, adjustment, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, and travellators.

The successful candidate will work to high safety and environmental standards while meeting project delivery targets.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the installation and adjustment of lifts/escalators/travellators, current electrical registration in Australia, and a driver's license.

They will also possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills, as well as an uncompromising attitude towards working safely in all situations.

Other relevant qualifications or training, such as 'working from heights' or 'rigging', would be advantageous.

The Job Holder will attend customer handover inspections and service inspections on installation and modernization projects as required.

They will ensure timely completion of defects identified during service/handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager, where necessary.

  • Install new equipment and modernise lifts, escalators, and travellators, working to high safety and environmental standards while meeting project delivery targets.
  • Ensure work is performed per the relevant Codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735 and AS3000.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials properly and safeguard such property.
  • Comply with the organisation's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact the environment or any employee.
  • Maintain and work in accordance with the Quality System, as per the relevant lift industry codes and standards.
