Job Overview

The Assistant Financial Controller role plays a pivotal part in the hotel's financial success by providing strategic financial guidance and leadership to the business.

To excel in this position, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Hospitality and a minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel finance/accounting.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring operational finance integrity through accurate and timely financial reporting and statutory compliance.
  • Leading month-end processes and financial reconciliations.
  • Driving cost control initiatives and supporting departmental budgeting.
  • Conducting internal and external audits.
  • Mentoring finance staff and interns.

Candidates with strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical skills, and experience with Opera/POS or PeopleSoft are highly desirable.
