About this Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled finance leader to join our team as a Leadership Finance Director. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of multiple dealerships in Tasmania.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance
Lead month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare and present management reports, budgets, and forecasts
Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
Support the CFO and leadership team with strategic financial planning
Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team
About You
We are looking for an accomplished finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment. You will bring:
Automotive dealership experience (non-negotiable requirement)
CA/CPA qualification and proven post-qualification experience
Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS / Australian standards)
Commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into business insights
Excellent leadership and communication skills
A hands-on, proactive, and collaborative style
