**About your new role**:
We are seeking a part time Leisure & Therapy Partner to join our team in Brookton. You will help promote the physical and emotional well-being of residents, by partnering with them to be involved in the meaningful activities of their life. Your responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with the allied health team to support residents in maintaining optimal functional abilities.
- Actively support residents to use and develop their abilities to engage in activities meaning to residents.
- Ensure safe and sound work practices that comply with Work, Health and Safety policies.
- Follow residents' care plans in the provision of person-centered support during therapeutic activities.
- Encourage and support family participation in the everyday life of their family member.

**Skills and Experience**

In order to be successful for this role, you will be a Therapy & Leisure Partner with experience in dealing with dementia. a Cert III in allied health will be highly advantageous as well. To be considered you will also need the following:

- Experience dealing with dementia clients and residents in relation to leisure and therapeutic activity
- Cert III in Allied Health (highly advantageous)
- Commitment to providing a customer-centric approach
- Able to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
