Job Summary

This role involves planning, executing and delivering large-scale IT infrastructure projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex technology infrastructure projects, strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Infrastructure Portfolio Delivery team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for overseeing the upgrade of technology infrastructure supporting our critical systems.

Your primary objective will be to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, quality delivery and alignment with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors and stakeholders to achieve project goals and milestones.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation's success by driving project delivery excellence, improving processes and enhancing stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation and budget management
  • Lead a team of technical professionals to deliver complex IT infrastructure projects
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including senior executives and regulators
  • Manage project risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and dependencies
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages ownership and achievement of project goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years' experience in delivering mission-critical technology infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of Networking and Connectivity principles
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
Preferred Qualifications

A background in Financial Services or similarly regulated industries would be advantageous, as would experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
