Project Leadership Opportunity

CQUniversity is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead a transformative campus development in the Cairns CBD. As a strategic and experienced professional, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to construction and completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in major capital works, particularly in education or public infrastructure, and possess excellent communication skills. They will be able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve project outcomes and ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead major infrastructure projects through all phases, from design and tendering to construction, commissioning, and completion.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including funding bodies, councils, consultants, and contractors.
  • Develop and implement project management frameworks, schedules, risk management plans, budgets, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, including building codes, Australian Standards, and local authority regulations.
