The Australian Government is seeking recent university graduates to join the 2027 Graduate Program - Data Stream.

Job Overview

Roles filled through this stream include Applied Data Scientists, Data Science Developers and Data Modellers.

Key Responsibilities

Data Scientists apply advanced analytics techniques and scientific principles to extract valuable information from data for business decision-making.

Requirements

Candidates must have either qualification/s in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, actuarial studies, physics, engineering, economics, econometrics or any other disciplines with a strong quantitative component.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible you must be an Australian citizen at the time of application, have completed at least an Australian Qualifications Framework Level 7 qualification (a Bachelor degree), or higher equivalent by December 2026 and have completed your most recent, eligible qualification between January 2022 to December 2026.
