About the Role
This role will be responsible for providing ER leadership and advice across all aspects of employment and industrial law, ensuring a positive work environment, and promoting fair and consistent treatment of employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise senior management on employee relations best practices and emerging trends
- Ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and company policies
- Identify and mitigate risks related to employee relations, and implement measures to prevent workplace issues
- Lead the bargaining cycle for enterprise agreements (end to end), including strategy formation, planning, pre-negotiation, negotiation, implementation, and approval
- Play an active and pivotal leading role in enterprise agreement negotiations
- Manage complex employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance resolutions
- Represent the business in external forums such as Tribunals and Commissions as required
About You
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in employee relations case management frameworks and tools
- Strong experience in developing, implementing, and embedding policies, frameworks, and changes to large groups of stakeholders
- Confidentiality and respect for sensitive information
