Production Assistant Role

This is a permanent, full-time salaried position. The role will involve managing stock, lead times, and partnering with suppliers to meet branch requirements.

The Production Assistant will assist the Inventory Manager in planning and performing production-related activities, including identifying production issues and suggesting solutions.

In addition, this role requires developing a production plan and schedule to ensure continuous operations, collaborating with the Inventory Controller in budget analysis and preparation, monitoring and managing expenses within allocated limits, understanding and controlling lead time scheduling and just-in-time methodology, and understanding and controlling colour batching and maximizing painting reclaims.

This role involves working closely with various departments including Internal & External Sales staff, National Operations, Branch Warehouse staff, all other branches, and suppliers to achieve manufacturing objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
