This role contributes to the success of the City by providing administrative support that meets the needs and objectives of the Legal and Governance Unit together with appropriate level support to the City's elected and community representatives in accordance with the Governance Framework and other relevant policies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring effective communication between the organisation, internal and external parties by delivering precise, timely information following the Governance Framework.
- Providing essential administrative support to uphold best practice standards.
- Preparing basic correspondence, emails, memorandums, reports and other documents.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver high-quality administrative support to the Legal and Governance Unit.
- Provide administrative assistance to the City's elected and community representatives.
- Ensure compliance with the Governance Framework and other relevant policies.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Business Management, Public Sector Administration or similar.
- Several years' experience in working in a similar environment.
