Clinical Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will be part of a transdisciplinary team, delivering clinical services to consumers in the Mackay area, covering a range of clinical conditions and complexities.
This position operates within a Professional Skill-Sharing and Delegation model of care by providing and participating in supervision and training in the use of skill-shared and delegated clinical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver Speech Pathology clinical services to consumers, including outreach to regional areas.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

The Speech Pathology Service delivers care to patients throughout our hospital departments as well as in outpatient, community, and rural settings.
The Community Health and Therapy Services comprise a range of outpatient healthcare activities focused on assessing, re-abling, and maintaining individuals' capacity to successfully remain in their community.
