\In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home.
\You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
\Your responsibilities will include:
\- \
- Delivering active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans\
- Assisting with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)\
- Using safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans\
- Facilitating community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport\
- Building trusted relationships with clients, families, and external stakeholders\
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and records\
- Working collaboratively within a close-knit team\
- Responding appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines
Requirements
\We're looking for individuals who are willing to work sleepover shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
\You must hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and be confident driving Unisson vehicles.
\Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient individuals are encouraged to apply.
\Experience in disability support is preferred, but not essential.
\Qualifications such as Cert III/IV in Disability are desirable.
