Job Title: Contracts Manager/Specialist/Graduate - Land 400 Phase 2
About the Team and RoleThe Legal and Commercial function is a dynamic team that supports the business in delivering and mitigating risk under existing contracts and tendering for new business. As a key member of this team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Commercial Manager with the end-to-end management of the program's prime contract.
Key Responsibilities- Expertise in contract negotiations and contract management, preferably in relation to Australian Defence projects;
- Strong drafting skills and a sound understanding of contract law principles;
- IT Skills including Microsoft Explorer, Microsoft Office Professional suite and SharePoint;
- Demonstrated high level of personal motivation;
- Strong background in working with multi skilled teams;
- Ability to assist in the development of commercial strategies and consistent processes that deliver competitive advantage to proposals and tenders;
- Must be willing to travel interstate;
- Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance - Baseline (Australian Citizenship required)
