The Contracts Manager – LAND 400 Phase 2 will play a key role in supporting the Commercial Manager – LAND 400 Phase 2 with the end-to-end management of the program's prime contract.
This includes preparing, reviewing and adapting ASDEFCON-based contracting documents, developing commercial solutions in collaboration with stakeholders, and ensuring effective contract delivery across both internal teams and external partners.
This position will primarily focus on the Support Contract, which delivers sustainment and support services for the LAND 400 Phase 2 fleet of Boxer vehicles to Defence.
We welcome candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds, from experienced contract managers to recent graduates.
The role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end management of the program's prime contract for LAND 400 Phase 2, including preparing, reviewing and adapting ASDEFCON-based contracting documents.
Develop commercial solutions in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure effective contract delivery across internal teams and external partners.
Focus on the Support Contract delivering sustainment and support services for the LAND 400 Phase 2 Boxer fleet to Defence.
Collaborate with the Commercial Manager – LAND 400 Phase 2 to support tendering and contracting activities.
Contribute to developing and applying commercial strategies and consistent processes to improve proposals and tenders.
What We Look For
Experience in contract negotiations and contract management, preferably in relation to Australian Defence projects;
Strong drafting skills and a sound understanding of contract law principles;
IT Skills including Microsoft Explorer, Microsoft Office Professional suite and SharePoint;
Demonstrated high level of personal motivation;
Strong background in working with multi skilled teams;
Ability to assist in the development of commercial strategies and consistent processes that deliver competitive advantage to proposals and tenders;
Must be willing to travel interstate; and
Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance - Baseline (Australian Citizenship required)
