Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead our accounting and business analytics functions. This is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to the organization.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. They will be able to coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

The role involves preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, and ensuring statutory compliance. The successful candidate will also oversee local statutory reporting, compliance, and going concern issues.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and general ledger maintenance.
  • Oversee local statutory reporting, compliance, and going concern issues.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Manage accounts payable and payment calendar.
  • Coordinate with project delivery and project accounting teams on project costs tracking.
  • Maintain SOX404 compliance and implement company policies and internal controls.
  • Maintain local banking and insurance relationships.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting including financial reporting roles with progressive responsibility.
  • Public accounting (audit) and construction/EPC industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS preferred.
  • Expertise in Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
