Project Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects that make a positive impact in our communities.

This role involves working closely with various teams to coordinate project deliverables and support day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities will include planning, communication, and coordination to ensure smooth project progress.

  • Manage material requisitions and returns to optimize efficiency
  • Support the development and maintenance of project schedules to meet timelines
  • Communicate project updates and timelines to field teams effectively
  • Collaborate with contractors to enhance project performance and progress
  • Assist with financial tracking and design updates to ensure accuracy
  • Review and manage open defects and contractor claims to minimize delays
About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A collaborative mindset and passion for delivering high-quality results
  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in infrastructure or construction environments
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of telecommunications pit and pipe, and aerial optic fibre infrastructure
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors
  • Experience in project reporting and performance tracking
