MARS Recruitment is partnering with a leading investment manager to find an experienced Financial Accountant. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a highly driven individual with a passion for data analysis and strategic decision-making.

The company, a prominent player in the financial services industry, is seeking someone with 5+ years of experience in financial accounting to join their team. Key responsibilities include managing financial and regulatory reporting, supporting budgeting and business structuring activities, as well as providing insightful analysis of financial performance.

This position provides an ideal platform for individuals with a background in financial services, banking, or investment management to drive growth and success. A strong analytical skillset and knowledge of IFRS accounting standards are essential for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a CA/CPA qualification (or international equivalent) and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Experience with ASX-listed reporting and local regulatory reporting is highly regarded. A hybrid work model and competitive salary are offered to successful candidates.

Key requirements include:

  • Preparation of monthly management reports and board reports
  • Assistance with ASX listed reporting requirements on a regular basis
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements
  • Providing insightful analysis of financial performance to support business units
  • Assistance with the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Support for funding, cash flow planning, and tax funding activities

A competitive salary of approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum is expected for this role, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required. Only Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered at this time.
