Lead Cyber Security Architect Role

This is a senior position within the Cyber Architecture and Assurance Section (CAS) that requires extensive experience in cyber security architecture, secure system design, and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain robust architecture frameworks aligned with government standards.
  • Conduct thorough threat modelling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend effective mitigations.
  • Provide expert guidance on security best practices across cloud, infrastructure, and application projects.
  • Ensure adherence to legislation, data protection requirements, and security policies.
  • Support incident response activities and post-incident remediation efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in cyber security architecture, secure system design, and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of government security frameworks and regulations.
  • Familiarity with cloud security, identity and access management practices, and secure development methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience providing security oversight across IT projects, including infrastructure and application development.
  • Minimum active NV1 security clearance is essential for this role.
