We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior People Partner to join our team at Charles Darwin University. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in providing strategic human resource management advice to our business leaders and stakeholders.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide hands-on solutions-focused HR support to identify and promote new ways of working and empowering approaches to people management. You will be responsible for a large portfolio of clients in a broad range of disciplines and will be the first point of contact for all Human Resources queries, including workplace conduct and performance management.

You will work closely with our business leaders to identify workforce trends and make recommendations that improve performance, retention, and the employee experience. This role will also partner with our People Operations and Employee Relations teams to drive key initiatives and projects in business areas.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in providing strategic human resource management advice at a senior level, along with a well-developed capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with complex and competing priorities. You will require leadership capability, experience, and demonstrated capacity to coach others, especially senior executives through times of change.

You will also need to have extensive experience managing complaints, complex workplace conduct, performance management, change management, and other disciplinary procedures. Sound generalist knowledge across the range of HR practice, including recruitment and selection, relocation, remuneration and benefits, performance management, employee relations, organizational development, work, health and safety, and equity and diversity is essential.

We offer a competitive remuneration package, including a base salary in the range of $102,831 - $126,324 per annum, plus 17% superannuation.
