As a Customer and Network Operations Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of incident response and network coordination for the Narrabri region. Your role will involve ensuring operational readiness, enabling quick recovery from unplanned events, and improving service delivery to our customers.

Key stakeholders such as emergency services, local councils, and other organizations will rely on you to coordinate activities during planned works and unexpected events.

This is a permanent, full-time position located at the Narrabri office with regular travel throughout the Narrabri and surrounding regions. You will be required to work outside of normal working hours, weekends, and public holidays as needed, including rotating on-call shifts.

As a successful candidate, you will possess experience in transport network operations, a strong understanding of incident management, risk mitigation, and maintaining access and mobility across diverse networks.

High-pressure situations require confident and capable operators who can deliver sound, timely advice to stakeholders while navigating politically sensitive environments.

Building strong customer-focused relationships is essential for success in this role. You must collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to influence, negotiate, and align differing perspectives to achieve optimal operational outcomes.

A customer-first mindset is crucial, allowing you to manage competing priorities and ensure the network returns to normal operations efficiently and safely.

The role requires a valid Australian driver's license.
