Design Draftsperson Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Draftsperson to join our Projects team in Victoria, Australia.

This role involves working on a variety of developments including residential communities, townhome projects and commercial centres. You will be responsible for performing drafting activities from handover to project completion, preparing construction documentation with exceptional attention to detail and high level accuracy, and collaborating with internal development teams to ensure seamless transitions between handover and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform drafting activities, covering large scale residential Townhome projects and light commercial/retail and Early Education commercial projects.
  • Prepare accurate construction documents with precise drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver quality projects that meet clients' expectations.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD or similar software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level accuracy skills required for preparing construction documents.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design (highly regarded).
  • 5+ years of experience in residential construction or related industry (commercial experience an advantage but not mandatory).
