**The Role**

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring your communications and engagement experience to one of Victoria's most exciting infrastructure projects, the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation.

The primary objective of the **Communications & Engagement Advisor** is to support the effective delivery of one of Development Victoria's highest profile projects through the provision of high-quality communications and engagement support.

The Communications & Engagement Advisor will assist in formulating and delivering integrated communications, stakeholder and community engagement activities across the project to protect and enhance the project's and Development Victoria's reputation with all stakeholders, particularly the government, government agencies and the community.

**About You**
- Experience in communications, journalism or corporate affairs, preferably in a government or infrastructure/construction setting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with project partners and other stakeholders
- Experience developing and delivering communications plans, media and issues management strategies
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to assist with the development of high-quality content across print, online and digital channels including social media
- Collaborative by nature and enjoy working as part of a diverse team while also maintaining a strong and well-regarded presence across the organisation
