Job Title: Food and Beverage Operations Manager

This is a dynamic role for an experienced food and beverage professional to lead the operations of our dual-branded hotel project in Melbourne's vibrant CBD.

As a Food and Beverage Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supervising outlet operations, including service mise en place, equipment setup and pack down, food and beverage service periods.

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets.
  • Ensure all food and beverages served meet brand standards and are served at the appropriate time and place.
  • Provide a warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
  • Excellent communication skills – guests will come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to.
  • Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories.
  • Be a trusted contact for all guests – help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge.
  • Maximize revenue on shift through promotions and upselling, and training of colleagues.
  • Assist in ensuring training of food and beverage staff is carried out and training plans are designed and implemented to meet needs.
  • Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
  • Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests, and have the necessary skills to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests.
