Job Title: Grants Officer

This role is part of the External Affairs branch at WorkSafe Victoria. The team ensures strong relationships with government, industry, and the community contribute to their vision and mission.

As a Grants Officer, you will be responsible for managing the grants program, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency, consistency, and fairness in the process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage the grants program
  • Lead the development of funding proposals with external stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate financial management of fund programs and reporting to Senior Leaders and the Executive Committee

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience working in grants with a solid understanding of government processes. You are highly organized, an exceptional communicator, and possess a passion for stakeholder management with the ability to negotiate outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and facilitating transparent decision-making processes
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to work with financials and figures with ease
  • Strong problem identification, analysis, and solution development skills
