Our automotive logistics company specialises in vehicle transport, processing and storage, fleet conversions and dealer vehicle storage.

**Job Description:**

As a Service Desk Operator, you will be responsible for resolving primarily level 1 work orders and elevating complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution as necessary. You will provide support for core IT products and services, troubleshoot problems, instruct internal customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicate IT policies as required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide support for core IT products and services.
  • Troubleshoot problems, instruct internal customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicate IT policies as required.
  • Determine the most effective manner to resolve customer's technical issue.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of PCs and other hardware to end users as required.
  • Engage in research and detailed troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.
  • Update tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities, and close tickets with resolution entered upon completion of the job.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

The ideal candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to thrive in a collaborative team environment, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
