IT Support Specialist

Your Role

  • Provide timely and professional IT service desk support to staff by logging and managing calls made to the service desk ticketing system.
  • Identify and escalate incidents or call patterns to ensure preventative measures can be taken;
  • Assist in the management and maintenance of office equipment such as printers, photocopiers, fax machines, scanners, Audio Visual equipment, laptops and projectors;
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding web assets and updating as required
  • Assist other IT team members to research and resolve IT problems;
  • Other duties and projects as required

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar IT support role in an MS Windows environment.
  • Experience working with SharePoint on premise and M365.
  • Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) preferably Drupal CMS. As well as a basic understanding of HTML/PHP/JavaScript/SQL;
  • Demonstrated ability to research and use initiative to identify systems and processes requiring improvement;
  • Well-developed conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Flexibility and ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a busy and dynamic working environment;
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with people at all levels.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s, or IT Certification in a related discipline.
