We're seeking highly motivated and proactive Sales Assistants to join our team on a casual basis in our Surry Hills store. As a Sales Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service and advice, while also contributing to the success of our store.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A real customer service focus, with the ability to wow our customers with their exceptional service skills.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to go above and beyond to meet our customers' needs.
  • High integrity, with a strong sense of ethics and a commitment to doing the right thing.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of customers, from children to seniors, and with colleagues and management.
  • Composure under stress and pressure, with the ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced environments.
  • A determination to succeed, with a strong desire to achieve results and exceed targets.
  • An eye for detail, with a keen sense of observation and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A hands-on approach, with a willingness to get involved and take on new challenges.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with a high-volume, disciplined retailer, with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
  • Strong merchandising skills, with the ability to effectively merchandise products and create visually appealing displays.
  • A commitment to the care and well-being of pets, with a passion for animal welfare and a desire to make a positive impact.

You'll be a reliable and determined individual, with a strong commitment to meeting high standards and exceeding expectations. You'll be flexible regarding working days and hours, and able to work unsupervised. You'll also be comfortable working on weekends and be willing to lift heavy items, such as bags of dog food.
