Production Lead Job Description

Byron Bay Screenprinters is a long-established local screen printing business and apparel supplier.

The team is looking for an experienced Production Lead to join our small, friendly team to help expand the business. This role involves managing the daily and weekly print schedules, assisting the team with order setup and processing, and collaborating between the printers, factory hands, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily and weekly print schedules
  • Assist the team with order setup and processing
  • Manage general warehousing duties and production-related set-up and cleaning
  • Collaborate between the printers, factory hands, and customers

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a warehouse/factory environment
  • Screen print experience (hobby work at home is beneficial)
  • Experience in the creative arts/print industries (beneficial but not essential)
  • Multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills within the business and with customers
  • Adobe CS experience and understanding of MS Office or similar software
