Job Description: As an Application Specialist, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional application support to customers while driving innovation through future enhancements.

The position is based in Canberra, AU and requires a high level of technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting incidents and providing technical code fixes and data fixes.
  • Developing program enhancements as defined in functional requirements / user stories.
  • Ensuring unit tests are developed and executed on all code changes and enhancements prior to peer review.
  • Ensuring peer review is always completed successfully prior to migration of data fixes, code changes and enhancements.
  • Identifying recurrent incidents and undertaking root cause analysis providing permanent solutions to underlying problems.
  • Ensuring that solutions adhere to development standards.
  • Maintaining current documentation on all programs, systems and procedures.
  • Ensuring SLAs are achieved and the customer's expectations are exceeded

Required Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience with 100% Microsoft technologies used including MS REDIS, MS SQL, MS Remote Desktop (RDS).

Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security clearance, NV2 is preferred.
