Employment Consultant Role

Deliver high-quality employment services to individuals with mental health disability.

  • Implement the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model, a globally recognized approach to employment for people with mental illness.
  • Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support and ongoing support.
  • Achieve individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Develop strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Collaborate with NDIS and community providers, ensuring wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
  • Monitor outcomes, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of participants with mental health disability.
  • Provide tailored, person-centred support to empower participants to achieve their employment goals.
