Job Title: Care Companion

We seek a dedicated care companion to provide high-quality support and care to our elderly and disabled clients.

About the Role

This is a casual role that requires a compassionate and empathetic individual who can build strong relationships with our clients.

The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, grooming, and meal preparation. They will also provide emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities including personal care, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in their condition.
  • Collaborating with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual who possesses:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support.
  • Experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing the highest standard of care.
  • Current First Aid certificate and National Police Clearance.
  • Working with Vulnerable People check is required for this position.
  • Current Driver's Licence and a fully maintained, registered, and insured vehicle.
