We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Companion.

About the Role

As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients by providing personalized support and care.

You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver tailored care plans that meet the unique needs of each client, focusing on activities such as personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship.

Your commitment to delivering high-quality care will enable our clients to live fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide premium care experiences for clients, demonstrating genuine compassion and understanding.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Deliver care according to client care plans, working closely with our Care Designers (Registered Nurses).
  • Meet client safety needs, utilizing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Skillset and Qualifications
  • A passion for making a positive impact on people's lives.
  • A self-led leader with the ability to take ownership of your behavior and success.
  • Coachability and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous caregiving experience is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and write English fluently. Other languages are an asset.
  • An ability to identify and report client care concerns to our Care Designers when necessary.
  • A reliable means of transportation to and from client homes.
  • Drivers with their own vehicles are advantageous.
Mandatory Requirements
  • A minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community, Individual Support, or Disability, or extensive industry experience.
  • A current National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector).
  • A Working With Children Check.
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
  • NDIS Clearance.
