The City of Whittlesea seeks a highly skilled Senior Construction Manager to lead engineering design and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead project teams in delivering road and transport infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate civil renewal programs and major works from concept planning to design and delivery.
- Provide leadership excellence in civil engineering, project management, and team management.
To succeed as our Senior Construction Manager, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field and significant experience leading projects in the industry.
- Registration as an Engineer under the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019.
- Construction Industry OHS Induction Training Registration.
- Licensed to drive a passenger vehicle.
- Extensive experience in planning, designing, and delivering civil projects within local government or community contexts.
- Proficiency in relevant industry codes, standards, guidelines, and sustainable solutions for civil engineering design and construction.
- Experience in tendering, contract management, and project management of civil projects from inception to commissioning.
