A Senior Construction Supervisor/Construction Manager is sought to join a privately held civil contractor with experience across various projects. The ideal candidate will have proven experience and understanding of civil construction management from the contractor side.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure works are delivered and completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee a diverse range of projects, including Drainage, Streetscapes, Traffic Infrastructure, and Concreting.
- Visit sites and meet with Site Leads and Client Stakeholders to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Monitor site productivity and work with the Project Manager to identify variations and potential delays.
- Ensure effective OHS onsite management, inductions, and pre-starts are conducted.
- Proven experience and understanding of civil construction management from the contractor side.
- Depth of understanding of technical and commercial elements in civil/cement/infrastructure works.
- Ability to apply construction experience to enhance methods, prioritising safety and efficiency.
- Collaborative: able to work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
- Must have the right to work in Australia.
- Must be prepared to undertake pre-employment medical examination and drug/alcohol test as part of the recruitment process.
