Senior Corporate Counsel Job Description

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to work with one of Australia's top 5 leading agricultural businesses. They provide framing supplies, crop protection, water related services, finance and real estate services.

You will;

  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements;
  • Advise on regulatory and compliance related risks;
  • Provide advice on general commercial, dispute resolution, employment law, workplace safety, privacy law and competition law.
  • Improve and maintain the company's reputation; and
- communicate with stakeholders, customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft commercial agreements;
Advise on regulatory and compliance risks;
Provide advice on various laws and regulations;
Improve and maintain the company's reputation;
Communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need;

  • At least 5 years of practicing experience from a top tier law firm or reputable inhouse team.
  • Broad corporate/commercial law experience;
  • Strong communication skills, work autonomously and an eye for detail.
