About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders, managing purchasing of specialized parts and services, and ensuring ongoing stock levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Manage purchasing of relevant, specialized parts and services in line with project requirements and timeframes.
  • Ensure ongoing stock levels are maintained and all required orders are placed.
  • Manage ongoing purchasing records.
  • Work with relevant departments to identify, advise, and support the company's purchasing processes and procedures.
  • Provide support to team members and encourage strong communication, knowledge sharing, coaching, and a positive and collaborative culture.
  • Establish relationships and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Champion value improvement and cost reduction initiatives to continually improve business performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australia citizenship.
  • Hold a current, minimum Baseline Security, AGSVA Clearance.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (Engineering) would be an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within the Procurement space.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively influence and negotiate effective outcomes across diverse teams.
  • A consultative approach, solutions-driven, and collaborative mindset.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously.
