Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a key member of the supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize sales through efficient stock levels and service to our customers.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of inventory management, procurement, and logistics. This includes forecasting demand, managing complex supply chains, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of customer demand and supply chain performance metrics
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate pricing and delivery terms with suppliers
  • Work closely with logistics teams to optimize warehouse operations and manage transportation costs
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify areas for improvement in our supply chain processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, or a related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in a supply chain planning role
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP systems, particularly Oracle, JDE, or SAP
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive business decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
