About the Role

This exciting 8-month casual assignment is an ideal opportunity to develop operational skills within a world-class supply chain environment.

You will support the existing team in improving purchasing efficiencies and day-to-day workload from our global head office. Our experienced team is genuinely supportive of your career development, providing a platform for growth and expertise.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and expediting materials and services for stakeholders;
  • Providing support to supply chain initiatives focusing on waste minimization and supply chain efficiency;
  • Assisting with troubleshooting purchasing and supply chain issues in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Supporting the supply chain leadership team, ensuring supplier performance achievement and meeting cost, delivery, and quality targets.

About You

To be successful, you will have the following key attributes:

  • A proactive and results-driven attitude;
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail;
  • Strong computer skills, ideally some SAP or ERP systems exposure;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mandatory Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain, Commerce, or Law, with recent graduates or individuals with a few years of experience in supply chain management preferred.
