Job Summary

Certis Security Australia is a leading security service provider seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for conducting incident investigations, implementing emergency procedures, and providing a high-quality security service at client locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Response: Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents and ensure timely completion of Security Incident Reports.
  • Emergency Procedures: Demonstrate knowledge and competence in the implementation of emergency procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Teamwork: Promote and encourage a team approach to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Customer Service: Provide a customer service approach and maintain a fair, courteous, and respectful manner in dealing with clients and customers.
  • Security Services: Provide a high-quality security service at client locations, including security escorts as required.
  • Reporting: Report and record security breaches and incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Take a problem-solving approach to conflict situations and recognize the need to escalate situations to the manager/supervisor for attention as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Security Licence: Hold a current Security Licence and Cert II in Security Operations.
  • First Aid Certificate: Possess a First Aid Certificate.
  • Working Rights: Have full working rights in Australia.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Availability: Be flexible with wide availability, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
