Job Description

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Risk Insurance Assistant to join our leading specialist team. This is a permanent position, open to being based anywhere in Australia for the right candidate.

This pivotal role will be the key point of contact for our team of Financial Advisers. You will work with a wide range of clients, educate Advisers on all things risk and help provide cover to clients in a variety of situations.

You won't have sales targets however you will be a major contributor to the team's overall success.


Responsibilities
  • Support our team of Financial Advisers by assisting with strategic risk advice for their clients.
  • Undertake needs analysis, research, insurance comparisons and new business quotes.
  • Conduct health and occupational pre-assessments with Insurers.
  • Maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Authorised on the ASIC Adviser Register.
  • Proven experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of the Australian risk market.
  • Adept at managing a large workload and competing priorities.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
