Dynamic Prosthetist and Orthotist Opportunity

SA Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Prosthetist and Orthotist to join our dedicated team in northern Adelaide.
About the RoleYou will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to patients who require prosthetic and orthotic services. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, fabricating, and fitting custom-made devices that enhance mobility, improve quality of life, and promote independence.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop customized treatment plans
- Provide ongoing follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes
The Orthotics and Prosthetics team is co-located with the Podiatry team within the Specialist Ambulatory Rehabilitation Centre adjacent to Modbury Hospital. The space is equipped with a large and newly refurbished workshop with the ability to manufacture custom-made devices.
You will provide an outpatient service, as well as treating patients within the Day Rehabilitation Service, and responding to referrals from the inpatient rehabilitation wards of Modbury Hospital.
