Prosthetist and Orthotist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Prosthetist and Orthotist to join our dedicated team at the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. As a Prosthetist and Orthotist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to patients who require prosthetic and orthotic services.

Our team is co-located with the Podiatry team within the Specialist Ambulatory Rehabilitation Centre adjacent to Modbury Hospital. The space is equipped with a large and newly refurbished workshop with the ability to manufacture custom-made devices. You will provide an outpatient service, as well as treating patients within the Day Rehabilitation Service, and responding to referrals from the inpatient rehabilitation wards of Modbury Hospital.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification of Orthotists and Prosthetists.
