About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a skilled and compassionate Prosthetist and Orthotist to join our dedicated team. As a Prosthetist and Orthotist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to patients who require prosthetic and orthotic services.
Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, fabricating, and fitting custom-made devices that enhance mobility, improve quality of life, and promote independence. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing customised treatment plans, and providing ongoing follow-up care to ensure optimal outcomes.
The Orthotics and Prosthetics team is co-located with the Podiatry team within the Specialist Ambulatory Rehabilitation Centre adjacent to Modbury Hospital. The space is equipped with a large and newly refurbished workshop with the ability to manufacture custom-made devices.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care.
