About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Civil Supervisor to lead our team on a major project in South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and work on a prestigious project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to site personnel ensuring project teams work efficiently and effectively, with team members covering roles in other jobs when necessary.
  • Coordinate subcontractor planning to ensure adherence to project completion timelines and minimize operational conflicts.
  • Assess plant and labour resource requirements for projects and communicate recommendations to Direct Line Managers.
  • Submit delays, claims, variations and notices to clients in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Manage project industrial relations, liaising with Project Managers where required.
  • Support toolbox meetings and other communications relevant to the project as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Construction/Civil trade qualification, with knowledge of construction processes, health and safety procedures.
  • Minimum 5 years construction industry experience.
  • Hold current first aid accreditation, a current driver's license, current police and DCSI clearance, or ability to obtain one.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing all site activities for the whole of the project, including construction scheduling and managing construction sites.
  • Ability to identify, manage and resolve issues as they arise during the course of a project.
  • Understand drawings and contract documents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competency in basic software suite (e.g., Microsoft professional suite).
  • Good understanding of Australian Standards (AS).
